I have enjoyed sharing all my thoughts with you. I have started a new therapy. This therapy takes a lot of time and it should heal me. It is called the Gerson  Therapy (http://gerson.org). I am putting everything I have into it.

It is just in time.  My communication is deteriorating and my legs are not cooperating. In other words, I only have one hope left to be healed. The therapy starts at 8:00 in the morning and goes until 7:00 in the evening. Every hour there is something that I need to do. Because of all of that, I won't be able to blog.

I am going to try doing it for six weeks. After the six weeks, if I do not see improvement I will cease the therapy. I am hoping for the best. I would appreciate your prayers. If you have time, you could come over and help me in the morning with the juice preparation. If you have time, email Laura with your contact information - laurajhaveri@hotmail.com.

But he endured the suffering that should have been ours, the pain that we should have borne. All the while we thought that his suffering was punishment sent by God. But because of our sins he was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did. We are healed by the punishment he suffered, made whole by the blows he received.     Isaiah 53:4-5

Keeping you and your family in my prayers! The Lord promises to never leave or forsake us. You are an encouragement to me and so many other people, Akhil. Always remember that the Lord is with you and loves you!

Our hope is always found in the Lord. In the truth of His Word. He has done His part, so my prayer is not that he will heal you, but that you will know the truth of what has been done on your behalf. You are in a battle, but the battle has already been won. The diet is simply an act of obedience - you doing your part. The Gerson therapy has long been known to detoxify, greatly lessen pain, and reduce symptoms as the toxins leave.

I hope you are greatly enjoying Curry Blake's teachings. He sure killed a few sacred cows of mine! Feel like my mind is gettin' straightened out Tex-as style!

"You give up when you win. It's over when you win. Faith sets the destination, and doesn't stop til you get there no matter what gets in the way. Until you get there, you're not done. (We) set the destination. Our destination is the Word of God. Anything that stands between us and the fulfillment of the Word of God, the will of God, the plan of God , the mission of God; anything that gets in-between is a devil. Beat it, drive it out, cast it out, walk through it, whatever it is. Kick in the gates. (You know?) Bring the prisoners out. Do whatever you got to do. (You see?) Are you how this is kinda funneling to a real simple point, that this thing is really just never give up (Isn't that it?) and go after it, and blast." Curry Blake DHT 16

The video is Akhil's journey with ALS.  Painful to see but the faith his family shows is uplifting.

God continues to show his love for us through his people.  Thank you to everyone who has reached out to us, prayed for us, visited Akhil, brought us a meal and served us however God led you to serve.  Continue to follow those urgings from God in serving those who are struggling.
